LEGACY GIVING

What is legacy giving?

The Legacy Giving Ministry at Emmanuel Church encourages members to consider a gift designated for the church’s endowment. Many people have given generously so that we might have a place to come to worship and serve God.

Many church members have supported the ministries of the Emmanuel congregation and would like to continue that support after they are gone. Any gift to Emmanuel Church will assure that future generations can continue to do God’s work.

Many people would like to make large charitable gifts to Emmanuel Church, but concerns about personal and financial security make these types of gifts seem impossible. Our goal is to outline ways you can make a meaningful gift while satisfying other important financial considerations, including tax-reductions and estate protection.

CONFIDENTIALITY: All legacy giving discussions at Emmanuel Church will remain confidential. Emmanuel does not counsel members on the legal and financial specifics of their estate plans.

Why does Emmanuel Church have a legacy giving ministry?

Emmanuel Church’s legacy giving ministry exists to allow people to leave a legacy for future generations to assure that making disciples will go on forever.

Additionally, the Legacy Giving Ministry can provide permanent, financial gifts that will help support the future ministry of Emmanuel Church. The principal of the gifts received is held in perpetuity (add definition) with the income made available as needed for various ministries of the church.
