VBS NIGHT VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION

Counselors: are responsible for guiding a group of children throughout the day’s activities. They will provide a positive, supportive, and safe environment while leading kids through Bible lessons, games, crafts, snacks, and more. The Group Leader plays a vital role in building relationships with the children and helping them grow in their faith.

Assistant counselors:  will work alongside the main group leader to guide and support a small group of children throughout the day’s activities. They help create a positive and fun environment, assisting with Bible lessons, games, crafts, and other VBS activities. The Assistant Counselor plays a crucial role in ensuring kids are engaged, safe, and having a great time.

Large group presenters: The Large Group Presenter is responsible for leading the opening and closing sessions for the entire VBS group. They will engage children through storytelling, Bible lessons, skits, and interactive activities that align with the VBS theme. This role is essential for setting the tone and creating an exciting, energetic atmosphere that draws children in and keeps them engaged throughout their time with us.

Craft Volunteers: are responsible for organizing, and overseeing all craft activities during VBS. Are responsible for setup and clean up between groups, and ensure time management of each session. The Craft Volunteers helps create a fun and creative environment for the children to express themselves while reinforcing the VBS theme.

Snack Volunteers: are responsible for preparing, and overseeing snack time during VBS. The Snack Volunteers will also manage snack distribution, clean-up, and any special dietary needs of the children.

Games Volunteers: will ensure that all games are safe and inclusive, and promote teamwork and excitement among the children. The Game Volunteers will work closely with other VBS leaders to create a dynamic and active environment for the kids.

Registration Team: is responsible for greeting and registering children as they arrive for VBS, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed, helping with check-in/check-out procedures, providing name tags, and helping with group assignments. They are the first point of contact for parents and children, providing a warm and welcoming environment and ensuring all registration processes run smoothly.

Characters and costumes: will be responsible for bringing the theme of VBS  to life by dressing in fun, engaging costumes to interact with children. This volunteer will portray a character that aligns with the theme of the event, helping to create an immersive and exciting experience for the kids.

Volunteer support services: is responsible for ensuring that volunteers have the resources they need to stay refreshed and comfortable throughout the event.
